Schnauzer Miniatura (Zwergschnauzer) - la mas pequena de las 3 variedades de Schnauzer aleman (Gigante 181, Estandar 182, Miniatura 183). Desarrollado a fines del s.XIX por miniaturizacion del Schnauzer Estandar con Affenpinscher. Top 20 popularidad mundial. FCI nº 183, grupo 2 seccion 1.2.
Apariencia general
Pequeno, robusto, atletico. Version miniatura del Schnauzer Estandar.
Proporciones importantes
Cuerpo CUADRADO.
Temperamento y comportamiento
Vivaz, alerta, valiente, inteligente, entrenable. Excelente perro alarma. Equilibrado.
Cabeza
Cabeza fuerte, alargada. Stop bien marcado por las cejas. Hocico cuneiforme. Trufa NEGRA. Ojos ovalados, oscuros. Orejas en V, semi-erguidas. Barba y cejas marcadas obligatorias (rasgo schnauzer).
Cuello y cuerpo
Cuello musculoso. Cuerpo cuadrado. Pecho moderadamente ancho, profundo.
Cola
Naturalmente larga (tradicionalmente amputada - prohibido Espana/UE).
Extremidades
Anteriores rectas. Posteriores bien anguladas. Pies de gato.
Movimiento
Trote elastico, eficiente.
Manto y colores
Pelo doble, duro/alambrado, denso. Barba y cejas marcadas. Requiere stripping. Colores admitidos en Miniatura (mas amplios que en Gigante/Estandar): NEGRO PURO, SAL Y PIMIENTA, NEGRO Y PLATA, BLANCO PURO. El negro/plata y blanco son UNICOS del Miniatura (no admitidos en Gigante ni Estandar).

Altura: 30-35 cm. Peso: 5-9 kg.
